Ajax submitted Gravity form not showing required fields error messages

    Hi,

    I’m using the Popup anything plugin to display a Gravity form that is being submitted through ajax. The form is being submitted and is showing the confirmation message correctly but when we try to submit the form without filling in the required fields, the associated error messages are not showing up. Any suggestions of what might be going on?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick reply. Here’s the link: [ short link deleted, do not use those here ]

    To recreate the bug:
    – Scroll down to the accordion widget and select the second item (Dép?t de candidature) than click the pink-red button (POSEZ VOTRE CANDIDATURE)
    – After the popup is loaded, scroll down to the Submit (soumettre) button and submit the form. You’ll notice that none of the required fields error messages are showing.

    To view the required fields error messages, close the popup and click the blue button just above (POSEZ VOTRE CANDIDATURE), it will display the same form but in a page. When you submit the form without entering any values, you’ll notice that all the error messages are shown correctly.

    @wrdprssmstr Do not use short links in these forums, that has been abused in the past and is expanded when found. I have expanded yours into the link field.

    That field is only viewable to logged in forum members and can’t be scraped by search engines.

    Updating to the latest version and updating the Popup Anything database by clicking the “Update Database” button on the Admin Panel fixed the issue.
