• Not sure if ajax support is on your roadmap, but when filtering posts (by tag for example) or loading more posts ajax support would be nice especially on mobile devices

    Hi @dalehopp,

Thanks for the request, could you explain this in more detail? I don’t quite follow.

    Cheers,

Sure, I have an archive page of posts. Trying this out in a development environment. Each post includes a GPX map of run, bike, paddleboard and so on. The archive page uses filters based on (activities tags) at the top. The user can select activity from filters and display filtered posts. In this case, using a filter plugin by crocoblock for elementor. It has two options, one to reload complete pages/post each time filter is applied or the ajax setting to avoid complete page loads. The waymark plugin loads on initial archive page load before filtering applied, but when I filter the archive page, for example “bike” only using ajax the post will display the waymark shortcode for the post on page and does not load the map. Hope that helps. Not sure how much demand there would be for your plugin to support ajax but it is nice especially on mobile devices both for user and speed.

    Thanks
    Dale

    Hi Dale,

Thanks for the extra detail. At first glance this looks like it could be quite specific to your setup. Is there any way you could share your development page showing the AJAX functionality so I can take a look?

    Cheers,

    Joe
