Akimset Problem

    Under the Akimset plugin are, it shows me the following error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_post() in /home/…../blog/wp-content/plugins/akismet/akismet.php on line 256

    As far as I am aware, I installed Akimset just as it was given. What would be the cause of this and how can it be remedied?

    The plugin works to catch and delete spam, but I never get to see what it caught. All I see is this error line.
