Akismet Activation

  • Hi Guys,

    Hope all of you are doing great, wish you can help me out here regarding Akismet Activation.

    I’ve read the instructions but I can’t seem to find the key.

    At my dashboard, when I tried to get my “Akismet Stats”

    I saw the following:

    Address Not Found
    Firefox can’t find the server at .web.akismet.com.

    The browser could not find the host server for the provided address.

    * Did you make a mistake when typing the domain? (e.g. “ww.mozilla.org” instead of “www.mozilla.org”)
    * Are you certain this domain address exists? Its registration may have expired.
    * Are you unable to browse other sites? Check your network connection and DNS server settings.
    * Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.

    Please help, if possible.

  • You need to either log into or make an account at wordpress.com. Your API key is in your dashboard there.

    yeah, its PRETTY FUNNY when you bought a domain and hosting and INSTALL wordpress then YOU NEED TO CREATE ANOTHER ACCOUNT IN wordpress.com, why can’t they issue akismet key for www.ads-software.com users?
