Akismet – Apache 2.4 and .htaccess

  • Using the current .htaccess file causes errors in the apache 2.4 log such as:
    Invalid command ‘Order’, perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration

    Need to use a new file such as:
    Require all denied

    <FilesMatch “^akismet\.(css|js)$”>
    Require all granted
    </FilesMatch>
