Akismet not getting activated – server problem??

    I have got the exact same problem – except getting 200-300 spams every day… My akismet activation is just not possible… Is it, that my host is not allowing anything? Like outgoing HTTP ? Can anybody help?

    I am having the same issue. I’ve looked all over the forum and haven’t found a good solution.

    I have the same problem. I just loaded up WP2.7 to fresh database and website using MimboPro theme. Did anyone figure out what the issue is and how to fix?

    How bout using WP-re-Captcha ?

    Try installing it manually instead of using the widget – mine works perfectly.

    Try installing the plugin manually? How do I do that?
