Akismet not working

    We have several forms on our site and Akismet is blocking quite a bit of spam, but it is not blocking anything on our contact form 7 forms.

    I’ve tried the viagra-123 name you’ve suggested before, but not getting anything to be stopped.

    We’re also using honeypot and it doesn’t seem to work either as we get 2-5 spam emails a day.

    site in question is at-95.com and the contact form is in footer.

    The test string is “viagra-test-123”. Akismet is working on the site.

    I am not sure that Akismet is working correctly with contact form 7.

    The only fields it seems to check are the ones you place an akismet tag against, namely

    akismet:author
    akismet:author_email
    akismet:author_url

    This means that 99% of spam remains undetected, but as an avid user of akismet for comment spam, i know it is much more accurate than this normally.

    Do we not have support to use something like “akismet:comment_content” or similar, because as it stands the akismet support is almost worthless.
