Akismet SIGN UP not responding

  • Have spent last 90 minutes attempting to follow Akismet’s directions to complete the activation process relative to obtaining the requisite “key”. There is no means of making direct contact with Akismet
    and their “support” function does not function. When any of Akismet’s “sign-up” buttons are clicked on, there is no apparent communication activity with their site. Given this problem, one cannot activate the plug-in. This condition has existed since I installed Akismet more than a week ago. Any suggestions, comments or instructions for a resolution is appreciated.

    UPDATE:An attempt to locate an email address through “WHO-IS” on Registry.com failed to disclose any useful information. The web site is registered by AUTOMATTIC, INC. (the parent of WordPress) on behalf of Go-Daddy. Go-Daddy’s “who-is” data does not disclose information on site owners or contact information.

    Certainly, “someone” should know how to make contact with Akismet in order to simply report the observed problem.
