Akismet Spam captures Error

    I’ve upgraded to the most recent plugin version yesterday morning and I recall in the “details” it was supposed to fix “blocking” spam from going to Akismet and then sending me an email.

    I’ve been using this plugin for over 3 years and have never had this issue until the 4.0.9 version and then I upgraded to the next version and it continues to cause this problem.

    I’m getting a ton of emails from my form that has registered as spam with akismet and then askismet is sending me an email.

    I’ve not adjusted or messed with the Akismet settings…it just started happening.

    Am I missing a “new” setting within the forms platform? Let me know if anyone else is having this issue.

  • version 4.0.9 is replaced with a new version that fixes that problem.
    Update to the latest version and set the setting for the Akismet action you want on the Security tab

    Thanks Mike,

    You’re right…the .9 version had a security tab but didn’t have that additional Akismet action. When I upgraded yesterday morning….I checked the settings again but forgot to scroll down farther to see the new “action” settings.
