Akismet url option

    Hi, just a quick question:

    Can/should I use the akismet:author_url on other fields than homepage? It would make sense to me to add it to any text input field as urls are generally what spammers post, but I’m not sure if that will break something?

    I’m not sure how Akismet reacts. I don’t recommend it.

    I added it to my subject and message text boxes and tested it by sending some generic urls (link to a facebook page etc), and that worked fine.

    But I guess it’s safer to leave it out. Thanks for your reply!
