    We are experiencing some difficulties using the Search in he Album Admin.

    One more than one occasion, when we enter a search string, the results are not complete. Where it seems to happen is when the search string exactly matches the Photo ID. The photo with this ID is returned as a result even though the search string text appears in other Photo Descriptions and Photo Names.

    This is a problem for us since this search string is our reference number and it is also the name of the file we uploaded to an album. We have not always used the reference number as the file name.

    I see your point.
    I made changes that result in (changelog):
    * Searching on numbers on the album admin screen now also returns real search results besides the already implemented list of ids.

    You can do the following:
    – download https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wp-photo-album-plus.7.5.10.001.zip
    – Go to the wp dashboard -> Plugings -> Add new.
    – Click the Upload Plugin button and upload and install the .zip file.

    Since wp 5.5 you do not need to de-activate/delete the plugin, you can install it directly as a replacement for the existing version.

    Pls tell me if this suits your needs.

    Thanks Jacob. I will test this out and let you know.

    We are still running an older version of WordPress. Is it safe to delete the WPPA+ plugin and install the new one without losing all our data?

    Yes, it is safe, you will loose nothing.
