Album cover photos not opening in lightbox

    I am reworking a site that uses WPPA+ and am trying to get a handle on all the settings and have been reading but so far have not found the answer to my problem, so if someone can point me in the right direction.

    On the site I have a gallery page that consists of WPPA+ Albums using short codes to get the “proper order”. When you click on the Album Cover photo it opens in place with a slideshow instead of in a light box but when you click the Album name or the “View ## Photos” link it opens in a light box.

    Is there a setting that makes the album cover open in light box or disables clicking on the photo? The site is running up to date WordPress and the latest version of WPPA+, updated today.

    Any help in the matter is appreciated in advance.

    First: You are not opening the album name, the view link etc in lightbox, but in a ‘modal’ box.

    You should better open it in lightbox (larger display):
    – Untick Table IV-A1.2: Modal boxes
    – Set all the linktypes in Table VI-B to ‘lightbox’, to get a real lightbox display.
    The title link can be set for each album on the album admin -> Edit page, and is default set to the sub-albums and thumbnails.

    If you want to display all albums by only one shortcode (faster page and larger displays and simpler maintenance when new albums are added) and in the right sequence order, set the global album order in Table IV-D1: Album order, to Order #.

    Now you can re-arrange the albums by drag/drop on the Album Admin page. Same for possible sub-albums on the Album Admin -> Edit page, if the sub-album order of the album is set to Order # (or the default).
