• Dear community,

I am having troubles with the scaling of images in the album I am using on my landing page (I just took a standard rife free album in the “frame” style and replaced the images). Sometimes on Firefox (I am using the most recent version 102.0.1) the image doesn’t scale to the full viewport width on desktops. I figured this happens after changing the browser window dimensions and then going back to the home page. Then, the bug is always the same: Some pictures, mostly the first two pictures of the album and the last picture, don’t scale properly to the full desktop width, all other images in between are completely fine. I also found this bug for the first time after updating the Apollo13 Framework Extensions from version 1.8.9 to 1.8.10 and the Rife Elementor Extensions & Templates to version 1.1.10 (I updated them at the same time, so now I don’t know which of both plugin updates could have caused it).

I cannot find this bug using another browser such as Edge. I hope you can replicate this bug, if not, I can send screenshots of that odd behavior.

    Thanks for your help!
    Best, Jakob

    I dug a little deeper:

When I open the album under “Albums”, everything looks perfectly fine and the album scales to the full width of the viewport.
So I guess the bug is caused by Elementor embedding the album. If I go to pages -> edit with Elementor -> edit section, under the ribbon Layout the “content width” is set to “full width” and “stretch section” is set to “yes”. In the Elementor viewport it looks fine, but if I select “Preview Changes” in the bottom left hand corner, the bug appears again.

I know changed the Elementor Page Layout under Settings -> Layout from “Theme” to “Full Width”. This makes the scaling bug go, but now all images are zoomed in too much. So that’s also not really an option.

    Hello ??

It seems something changed in how images are loaded in firefox, and probably the calculation of the width is run too soon now. I will take a look at it.

    Thanks for reporting this.

    With kind regards.
    Air.
