album will not display in pages or posts

    Hi, I have Easy Photo Album running fine on one website but it won’t work at all on another. It makes no difference deactivating my plugins or changing the theme. If I insert the album shortcode into a page containing some text, only the page title displays – no text and no album. Likewise, if I create a new blank page, only the page title is displayed. You can see this at https://maradene.net and click the Temp menu option. Any ideas, please. BTW, I’m no WordPress expert.

    Can you post the shortcode you are using? Because it seems that there is some php error generated. If the shortcode contains id="0", please remove the shortcode, update to Easy Photo Album 1.3.3 and insert a new shortcode.

    Thanks for getting back. This is the shortcode I’m using:

    [epa-album id=”0″ title=”true” display=”excerpt”]

    I’m using version 1.3.2 so I’ll try the 1.3.3 and get back. Interestingly, I can preview the album using the above shortcode, it just doesn’t display on the page.

    That’s interesting. I have updated to 1.3.3. I inserted the shortcode but it displayed as below with the same result – no album displayed:

    [epa-album id=”0″ title=”true” display=”full”]

    However, if I reselect the album in the list and try inserting again the following shortcode is displayed as shown below. No the thumbnails display but in a single column, even though it is set to 3 columns:

    [epa-album id=”2118″ title=”false” display=”full”]

    Update: Not only do the thumbnails display in one column, clicking on a thumbnail enlarges the image but there is no option to step forward and back through the images, nor are the image numbers or captions displayed.

    The collum thing is my mistake. Please update to 1.3.4.

    About that shortcode, the id 0 is not a valid id and it was a bug in EPA that inserted the shortcode with id 0. On the other hand, there was some code that couldn’t handle that id 0 and crashed your site a bit.

    Great, that’s done the job. Excellent photo album plugin.

    first time trying this plug-in; having the same challenge as this thread – thumbnails display but in a single column, even though it is set to 3 columns.
    shows up fine when I view the photo album, but only single column in the page placement.
