I did a bit of troubleshooting myself, and I found a solution for my situation.
Your thumbs are generated inside a <div> which is inside an <a> and this is against the HTML4 specification. One other plugin I have installed just clean the code, so it was removing the dirty part and the thumbs.

Even if it’s easy to change your code I preferred to install RAW html and just use your plugin as is between [raw]...[/raw]

I don’t know if HTML5 permits to have block inside an inline… but I am pretty sure that for compatibility reason I would prefer having your plugin following the HTML4!!

And like me I am sure a lot of other people are having problem because of the retro compatibility with other plugins!!!

By mistake I replied to the automated wp email instead of coming to this thread.
Yes, you are right and on the installation page the use of [raw] was already mentioned. Most 3rd party templates which overrides the default wp formatter also include the support for [raw]. If they don’t there’s always the ‘RAW html’ plugin.

Unfortunately the problem is back, not even [raw] with or without the plugin solves the problem, any tip would be appreciated my clients are starting being pissed….

    The first one uses [raw]
    the other 2 are without…

I see that the style attribute is stripped from the plugin output which was supposed to show the thumb as background. not sure which plugin/code is doing that :S

Thank you for the useful reply, I deactivate one by one the plugins and found that an updated version of xLanguage was parsing the page in the wrong way, luckily enough they included an option to change the way the pages are parsed, so now everything is working again!!

    Cheers!
