Album/Photo Count

The gallery is set up so that I have a master album that contains both albums and galleries. I’m looking for a way to have it so if there is an album with subalbums it says for instance “2 albums” but if theres a gallery it says for instance “3 photos”. I know I can change “photos” to “albums” but I want it to say both, whichever applies.
