You could also use the Next Gen Gallery. It would allow you to insert multiple albums on a page.

yeah next gen plugin is a very powerful and use full when i used it the plugin was free but cant say any thing for now a days.

I’ve tried next gen but it has only one type of album to show.
What I wan is somewhat like a category of photos (albums) which have their respective photo inside, when a viewer clicks them.

With Next Gen, you can create many galleries. So could you not create a page and then add a bunch of galleries on that page?

So the page could be your album and then inside you could add several images, which individually link to galleries.

Have you tried the Carousel feature in Jetpack?

I don’t know if that is what you want… but I know I’ll be using it on my Boy Scout Troop’s website after I get permission to move it to paid hosting!

NextGen is capable for grouping your images and posting it into albums, am satisfied with the result yet. I did add the lightbox to for some effects.

I used nextgen for a while, but couldn’t get on with it. I have started using WP Photo Album Plus https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/ which, I think, presents the galleries and albums in a much simpler more effective and ultimately better looking method than nextgen.
