    Hi Ian,

I like the plugin … great work.

I installed the program on a wedding venue site a couple of months ago and all went well..

    https://oldomenhouse.com/featured-outdoor-weddings/

Today I wanted to add another wedding album and I uploaded it to Goggle Photos and Google+ and shared it every which way. The album DOES not show up. I have upgraded to your latest version … De-authorized and reauthorized the Google Photo account with no joy. I even backed off the Sucuri website security thinking there may be some blockage.

Question: How is the album ID generated from Google Photos? Is there some way of figuring out what the album ID is that I want to display ….regardless of its presence in your short code page?

    Hello Gary

The album ID is taken from the album feed that Google produces. If the album ID is in the feed the plugin will show it.

The question really is why isn’t it in the feed?

Often incase like this, when albums are not appearing, it’s because they were initially created as a ‘shared album’ try creating it as a standard album first, adding the photos and then adding the sharing options. That normally resolves it.

Bear in mind this forum is for the Free version, please use my contact email address in future.

    Hope that helps
    Ian

    Hello

There are 2 main shortcodes to use on separate pages.

You use 2 shortcodes, 1 to display the albums ([cws_gpp_albums]) and 1 to display the images in an album ([cws_gpp_images_in_album]) on separate pages.

You need to update the “results_page” option in shortcode [cws_gpp_albums]

You need to put the slug to your new page where you want to display the images of the selected album into the album shortcode. e.g.

Into this shortcode [cws_gpp_albums] add this option results_page=’YOUR SLUG HERE’

Then, on the page where you want to display the images of the selected album (the YOUR SLUG HERE page), enter the shortcode [cws_gpp_images_in_album], not forgetting any options you might want to include.

So, to summarise, you need to use 2 shortcodes, 1 to display the albums ([cws_gpp_albums]) and 1 to display the images in an album ([cws_gpp_images_in_album]) on separate pages.
