Alec Tang WP Link Directory

  • Hello,
    As a realative newbie I am unsure if I am doing something wrong or if it’s the plugin.

    I want to create a Link Directory and have downloaded Alec Tang’s WP Link Directory as found here:

    When I tried to upload it via WP (V 2.8) it gave me an error about not having a header. Then when I tried to reload it it gave me the following error:

    Destination folder already exists. /home/content/c/a/n/canadaweds/html/wp-content/plugins/V1.4/
    Plugin Install Failed.

    So I tried my actual FTP Client by deleting it from my files and manually installing it into WP content-> Plugins folder.

    I still get nothing. I am not sure if it acts as a normal Plugin would as I don’t see it in my plugins that are on my blog, as it should be becasuse i uploaded it.

    There is no help at Alec Tang’s site or installation instructions. Any help would be great appreciated.
