Hacked via Simple Facebook Comment For WordPress Plugin

  • Dear Guys,

    I opened my website this morning and found, to my horror..some lot of text (actually half a page) which also included my database name and password, etc. Amidst other things, I found all this happening through simple-facebook-comments-for-wordpress plugin which was installed on my Site.

    I quickly deleted the Plugin and changed all possible passwords. Then, later in the day..found this on my site:

    /wp-content/uploads/2012/05//?yuo=ioi&gyp=брелок+рулетка+с+вытяжной+ниткой

    Im not sure if the plugin hack and what I found are related…but quickly went inside the said uploads folder..and deleted a lot of files and folders other than image files there.

    Just thought should alert everyone.
