Alert on critical problems – only for plugin updates?

    Hi,

    I’m using MainWP with Wordfence for 45 sites and I have ticked “Alert on critical problems”. I get 5-10 emails per day about plugin updates, normally the same plugin across 5-10 sites.

    Does the “Alert on critical problems” notify of ANY other issues, other than plugin updates? What other critical problems would I be notified about?

  • Hi,

    I don’t have an exhaustive list of critical events but they are defined as events that you have to take hands-on action on to resolve. Plug-in updates require you to manually update them so they are deemed critical. Another example would be if Wordfence detected a malicious file on your site. That would require you to investigate the issue and take action.
