Since our SEO partner updates our pages on the regular my inbox gets flooded with these alert emails. How do I figure out what the Post-Type is so that I can disable it? Here are the ones I’ve disable that didn’t make a difference:

    • page
    • post
    • everything that ends in “…to publish”

    Example email:

‘Subject: Sucuri Alert, boomerbenefits.com, Post Update, 108.163.239.80

    Event: Post Update
    Website: [redacted]
    IP Address: [redacted]
    Reverse IP: feedserver.freerelevantlinks.com
    Date/Time: May 7, 2018 4:24 am

Message: Page was updated; ID: 143875; name: Turning 65 Medicare’
    Example: https://imgur.com/9jRT6lQ

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • The post-type is hinted in the message “Page was updated…”.

This message comes from this code [1] where the word before “was” is the post-type, in this case “Page”. However, the other two lines in the code show that the notification is controlled by the event post_publication, so please try unchecking that one and see if it reduces the number of alerts in your inbox.

I tried unchecking all of them and I still got the notifications. I just had to uncheck “Receive email alerts for changes in the post status (configure from Ignore Posts Changes)”
