• Hello,

We have a site that is a multisite network where the main site is for an artists-painters association and all subsites are for individual artists themselves. They each have their own subsite with heavily controlled access (through a custom role) and all are built the same way. This is just to give you background.

I have Sucuri installed and activated network-wide. No issues for a long time but, sometime in recent months, this started happening: the page with the Alerts settings (/wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=sucuriscan_settings#alerts) keeps having its settings reset. Annoying but I can set it back once in a while. What is more serious is that, I have a custom email set there to receive email alerts and that too gets reset but to a random email from one of the artists (always the same one) but this person has no admin privileges on her own sub-site and is certainly not a superadmin on the network. There is no rhyme or reason why that setting should change on its own and even less so for her email to be the one put in there.

Any idea what might be going on here?

    Thanks!

It happened again. Alert settings got reset to default and the alerts recipient set to the same user which has no reason whatsoever to receive those emails (she’s a user with no admin access to any site on the network, she’s not first (user ID = 1) and neither her name nor email starts with a letter that would explain that email to be automatically selected alphabetically. This seems so random.

@pixelyzed?We’re still looking into this issue. Sorry it’s taking so long but we’re working on duplicating the issue.

Thank you! It has not happened again recently so I’m not surprised you are having difficulty reproducing it. I had to fix it at least 4 or 5 times including right before creating this thread but not in at least 2 weeks now.

I was not specific before but the site is on a Vultr HF server managed through RunCloud and running Litespeed. Everything up to date.

    Thank you!

It happened again today, same user that should never get her email set in alerts. Had to redo all other alert settings as well.

Our admin alert settings keep getting reset back to default settings as well.

Happened again sometime in the last few days. All alert settings reset and now a new just as inappropriate user on the network was set to receive the email alerts for no reason. This is really getting seriously annoying.

You need to keep investigate this. Any progress?
