• Hi,
I am not receiveing any alerts from wordfence.
I checked at mxtools and my ip is not blocked anywhere.

I tried to send test email from wordfence options page that says
“Your test email was sent to the requested email address. The result we received from the WordPress wp_mail() function was: False”
    and no receive email.

I am using latest version of WP and Wordfence.

    Any help ??

  • Sounds like you have an issue with your web server’s email function. It may require postfix or sendmail or whatever your server is using for mail to be restarted. This may require help from your hosting provider.

Hi Dont think this is the case, because i am running a reseller account. Wordfence on All other website on the same hosting, same server and same IP is working fine and sending all the alerts.
Wordfence from just one specific website is returning “”Your test email was sent to the requested email address. The result we received from the WordPress wp_mail() function was: False”

    Thanks

That means it is not sent. We don’t control any part of the actual mail function. We call wp-mail (wordpress process) and use it. Someone may have disabled it, or its mail queue is stuck. Ask the hosting provider to look.
