Alias email not receiving email

    Hi. I’ve set up my ‘contact form’ from and to email addresses, did all the SMTP configurations according to documentation. I have an alias email attached to my personal email (G-suit) and when I did SMTP configurations and added ‘client id’ and ‘client secret’ from my personal account, it configured ‘from email’ in SMTP plugin settings my personal one. After, when I add my email address as ‘from’ and ‘to’ I successfully receive emails but when I add my alias email attached to my personal account email is not being received.
    How can I fix this if I want to receive ‘contact form’ emails to my alias email?
    There is no way to login to alias gmail account to put another ‘client id’ and ‘client secret’, since alias is attached to personal one.

    This ticket is really urgent!

    Also can you please tell me if this ticket is public(is this visible to everyone) or private?

  • Hi, your ticket is public.

    Gmail will definitely refuse sending e-mails on the behalf of an address it doesn’t know. Maybe you can try to somehow add your alias address into your Gmail account. I remember once being able to do that, being at least able to send mail from within Gmail (free account) using alternate identities. That MIGHT allow sending mails with your alias address using Gmail SMTP.
