• Since this morning I noticed I cannot use center align while creating posts. The toolbar does nothing nor does using my keys. I did try it out in IE and it works fine. Just curious if there is a way to fix this as I would prefer to continue using Chrome for working on my site.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Forgive me, as I am not very good at this stuff just yet. Until very recently I had someone who did all of this for me so it’s all new to me. I know the person who use to do my website created my theme, so if I switch to another I am not sure how to get back the one I currently have. I did download that plugin you suggested and had no problem there.

I am also having this issue.

Well, I hate to hear you’re having that issue too but hopefully that means it’s not just us! Perhaps a Chrome/WP bug?

Did you disable all plugins and change the theme?

No, I am confused by the theme changing. I have never done it before and where mine is custom I am not sure how to change back. Everything works fine on IE so it does seem to be that Chrome is the core issue.

Appearance -> themes. Just activate twentyseventeeen and see if the problem is still present, then re-activate your prior theme. If it where *all chrome users*, the forum would a volcano of problems, so it’s something related to your environment. Also, try using an incognito browsing session to rule out Chrome extensions and cookies.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

The reason I don’t think it is just me is because I have seen several others with the same issue.

It works fine in Chrome incognito. So maybe it’s an extension?

I don’t even see what my current theme is as an option to switch back to. I just want to back sure I know what I am looking at before I switch over to something I can’t get back.

IF it works in incognito, it’s probably an extension. Disable all extensions and then turn them back on, one at a time, until you find the one that breaks it.

I will try that now. My luck it is one I use often.

Turned off all my extensions ( I only have 5-6) and it didn’t phase the center issue at all. This is so strange.

Any other ideas on how I can fix this?

If it works in incognito, then it’s a cookie or an extension. Delete all cookies related to your site.

I was having this issue.. Fixed it by turning off my Pop-Up Blocker for Chrome (Poper Blocker 4.0.7.5 )
