How to align all fields (second cell) within the Event Details left / with same distance (same width for first cell)?

    Hi there,

I am not quite sure what you mean by this, could you please clarify a little bit?

Sure. I hope the markings in the screenshot make it understandable.

Thank you for clarifying, so seems to be pretty standard across the board for Event Creation, I have checked on multiple test sites and those sections never seemed to be lined up, but it does not impede the function in any way. Here is a screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oNtXDSCewkSQiiJz0gIV-TaovStnN7wm/view?usp=sharing

If you wanted to change this, it would take some customizing in the backend, and I unfortunately do not have any tips on how to accomplish this. You can take a look at this forum thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/how-do-you-customize-the-backend-organizer-or-venue-listings/ But changing this around would be up to you, customizations like this are not something we normally support even for Premium users.

    I hope that helps!

    Thanks Truman

I just feel crummy handing out something so shoddy to my clients. I really wish you guys would put as much care into the design of the plugin as you do your website.

I really appreciate your support – please do not misunderstand my feedback.

    With my best regards

Just saw that also the latest version has this “problem”.

I wonder why. Is it really not possible to fix this?

    Hi there again,

I would not really say this is a problem, it is just part of the design of the backend. Not being lined up does not affect the function of this in any way, that is not going to transfer to the front end because all of the info will look completely different anyways.

I am not 100% if this was intended, but it has not created any issues or bugs in the past, nor do we have any open tickets in regards to this. I understand what you mean here, but in the long run it is not something that negatively affects any functions, so I believe we are more focused on making sure the plugins function well.

If you would like to submit this to our roadmap, you can do so here and we may take a look at it in the future: https://app.loopedin.io/the-events-calendar-suite-roadmap#/ideas

    Thank you for your feedback!

    Dear Truman

Normally such corrections can be easily implemented via CSS, but unfortunately not in this case. I understand that my complaint can’t be solved straight forward and it’s not worth spending any more time on it.

Thank you for your feedback and kind regards

    Hi @dkray,

Thanks again for reaching out and bringing this to our notice.

As you’ve mentioned, this isn’t a quick fix, but making a suggestion about correcting this through the link Truman shared would be the best way to get this on the radar for our product team, and also gather support from other users who agree with you.

    Thanks and best regards,

    Marho
