Align Text to Bottom of Thumbnail?

  • I’ve been messing around with YARPP trying to set up my Related Posts to display a thumbnail and text link to each article. So far I have one page that’s mostly working:

    What I want to do now is get the text aligned with the bottom of the thumbnail. And it’s turning into one of those things that should be easy and is turning out to be baffling. The most common suggestion I’ve seen on various CSS tutorial sites is to create a container around the text div and set the text’s positioning to absolute and bottom to zero. But when I’ve tried that, the text just flies up into the middle of my article.
