Aligning Images Using Styling Grid

I followed the instructions here: https://displayposts.com/2019/01/04/post-grid-styling/

I notice the height is set to auto which is easily changed in CSS. However, our thumbnails have different heights. This causes some of the images to display tall and others shorter which makes the title text appear out of line.

Is there another container around the image so that it can be adjusted in order for the image to load its proper size, but still being confined within a container so the title text aligns properly when displaying 3 posts on one line? I cannot find any other containers using dev tools.
