Aligning Logo left/ removing border

Hello,
I am wondering if someone can help me with three issues I am having with www.ads-software.com as I am pretty new to this: I am using the lifestyle press theme. Even any help with one of the below would be useful. Much appreciated.

1: Is there a piece of code that will allow me to shift my logo at the top of the page over to the left so that it is more in line with the text on my landing page? I have tried entering the code suggested in an older thread, but it did not work.

2: Is there a piece of code I can use that will allow me to tidy up the logo a bit by perhaps getting rid of the border around it?

3: Finally, on my landing page, is there a piece of code that will allow me to close the gap between the title ‘Need a Writer?’ and the blurb below? Basically, I want to bring the blurb up a bit but I can’t seem to do this in the page editor function on WordPress.
