• In WordPress 4.9.9, this page looks fine. The “Hi, I’m Trevor Wood” aligns with the top of the image. However, I can’t reproduce this in Gutenberg (5.0.2) The text starts lower (about the top of my head) and it looks horrible.

I’ve used a paragraph block for the text and an image block for the image. I’ve left aligned the image and overlayed it on the papragraph block

I can’t show you what it looks like unless there’s a way of uploading an image here

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I’m having the same issue except mine won’t align at all!

I’ve fixed it using some CSS to raise the top margin of <p> to a negative number of pixels. Not nice, a bit of a cludge. I should be able to do it without that – and probably could if there was a way to insert an image into a paragraph block
