Alignment all messed up — text and sidebar

  • Had a successful upgrade except for some minor cosmetic issues.

    My body copy is now aligned all the way to the left, instead of in the wide middle column. Can’t seem to find the problem, but i’m really new to CSS and reading the php.

    Also, my sidebar on the right is all the way on the bottom of the page instead of at the top where it would be useful. I imagine its a similar problem as the first, and i just dont know which templates are controlling which parts.

    is there a php or wordpress guide for dummies????

  • When you upgraded, since you were using Kubrick, did you follow any of the items outlined at https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Themes#Process for Kubrick?

    I didn’t use any images in my 1.2 blog, and I was using a 2 column layout so I’m just taking some stabs here.

    i wasn’t using Kubrick. I was using the default 1.2 template.
    WP 1.5 automatically applied the kubrick theme to it.

    either way, it looks ok now. Still need to figure out the sidebar issues, though.
