• My captions show up as center aligned when I’m editing posts, but when I publish, it shows up as left aligned. This just started as everything was aligned fine yesterday. I haven’t made any changes to anything except adding a few captions. Captions that have been there for 2 weeks are now left aligned.

    I added
    .wp-caption-text {
    text-align: center;
    }
    to the additional CSS, but it’s still messed up.

    ====
    Edit- I logged in as another user and captions look fine when they are in edit mode.
    I looked at captions throughout and there are some on posts that I haven’t touched at all in weeks that the captions are now aligned left.

  • Hi.
    Is the wp-caption-text class name for your captions?
    I dont find the class name in the page.
    What is your caption for the first image, for instance?

    Paragraph under the photo is wrapped in div with class post-content entry-content.

    I haven’t done anything with either of those and wouldn’t know what to put for that or where. The only change I had made that would affect the whole site was updating a plugin called option monster and installing a plugin to change all the media file names, but after installing that, captions were still ok.

    Here is one entry that is older that just changed by itself.

    I dont see any caption aligned left.
    Have you resolved?
