    Hi
I’m in AVADA theme which is not friendly to custom 404 page , so I’ve installed 404page plugin , and created a page as 404 page.
Then, I tried to randomly create a non-existent url, it works pretty good!

But after activating plugin , I found logs which should be 404 all became 403 in Apache logs , so I can’t get 404 logs in All In On Security & Firewall plugin to blacklist Ips which attempt to access banned scripts and pages, because there is no 404 log.

Besides, I found the customized 404 page sometimes looks terrible , if I access a non-existent url from previous 404 log which has been accessed by other visitors , the customized 404page will include the content of another post .
On the contrary if I access customized 404page directly or non-existent URL that has not generated 404 log , it would be correct and pretty.

So I had to disable the plugin first until I know how to deal with these two problems.

    Can you help me?
I really like the value came from this plugin.

For me that sounds like a problem with Avada. Can you activate a WordPress default theme to test if it’s caused by Avada or by another plugin you’re using? Have you tried to activate Compatibility Mode? See https://youtu.be/wqSepDyQeqY for details.

    Regars,
    Peter
