All attributes show up as a selection option when not assigned

    Good day,
    I have a product that has two drop down attributes with different variations
    Model: (referring to the brand of automobile)
    Year: (referring to the year of automobile)

    I do not carry product for certain year models, so I don’t want to have them show up as selectable options.

    EXAMPLE HERE ON THIS PAGE:

    Select model “LIMITED”, I only have product for 1958, however when you select the year, all of the attributed years are available as selections.

    In my variations, there is only one variation for the attribute LIMITED and it is assigned to the 1958 attribute.

    This did work until I got more and more variations entered in, now it shows all of the years for all of the models.

    Can you help me please?

  • Hi @mismyl1!

    You may need to hide the out-of-stock items from the catalog.

    You can do that by navigating to your WordPress Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory.

    Scroll down a bit to locate the item: Out of stock visibility, check the box in front of it, and then click on Save Changes!

    HI,
    Thank you for the quick reply!
    I checked the box, refreshed and clear my cache, still no change.
    Must be something else. It starts out ok until I add more variations.
    I might have to go one by one and test after each variation to see what number is causing the issue.

    Will keep you updated, or if you have another suggestion?

    Anything more than 30 variations and it will not work properly.
    It works well up until 31 or more variations, then it will show all the attributes
    Any ideas?
