• Hi there,

Since installing 2014-theme on my blog ( https://www.plezierindekeuken.nl/ ) I have a very strange issue for which I cannot find a solution anywhere.

    The problem is this:

When I go to my blog using Firefox on a desktop I am served the (static) frontpage in desktop modus: all fine.
When using any different browser on a desktop the frontpage shows it’ s mobile version, but after clicking any link and going to a sub-page suddenly the browsers switch to the desktop-version of my blog with the menu on the left, as it is supposed to look.

So why only the frontpage and why is Firefox not affected by this issue and how to fix this?

It’s not only an issue on my PC; everywhere I try it’s the same, visitors of my blog tell me it’s the same for them: frontpage is served as if they are on a mobile device, the rest of the pages are fine and treat their browser as a desktop browser.

Any help is welcome, I am totally clueless.

  • I’ve tried your website in the following browsers (all on Mac):
    – Firefox 28.0
    – Chrome 34.0.1847.131
    – Safari 6.1.3
    – Opera 12.16

And they all show the desktop version of your website (navigation in the left column, content on the right). Sorry, but I can’t reproduce the problem…

Yhanks for trying! I have only tested this on PC’s and all of them show this issue: left sidebar is gone, mobile menu-button appears on the top right and all is back to ‘normal’ once another page is loaded.

    Again: thank you for trying.
