All cache is purged, or only modified content?

What is the behavior of plugin with modified content?
It flushes the whole NGINX cache, or just the content that is modified?
Triggers only Article edit? Page? Comment approval? Comment delete?Can’t fool around on production server to test it out, hence the question.
