All caps issue unresolved?

In an earlier post:

I read that this issue was supposed to be resolved, with Version 5.7.2, which I got.
As you can see, it shows up in the Events details.
I tried the fix posted earlier in the functions.php of my child theme:add_action( 'wp_loaded', function() { remove_filter( 'link_name', array( WP_Typography::get_instance(), 'process' ), 9999 ); });but that didn’t work for me.
Any ideas?
BTW: What is this span needed for anyways?The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

it does not look like this is the same issue at all (which was specifically about the WordPress Links widget). I believe you are using The Events Calendar. Apparently, they are incorrectly using
get_the_title()in conjunction withesc_html(), which results in the problem you are seeing. As described in the FAQ,get_the_title()is not guaranteed to not contain HTML tags, so themes and plugins should usethe_title_attribute()if they need a title without any HTML.PS: The
<span>is generated because you have enabled CSS hooks for all-caps words.
