And I get an error saying it is temporary. But after a few hours, posting comments from a mobile is still blocked. But not on desktops. please correct this asap.

There is 403 forbidden error when I try to access your site.

If you’re getting that, combined with the issue posting from the phone, it’s likely you have a security issue on your computer/network/phone.

Two recommendations: Make sure your software (OS/browser/apps) are all up to date — using the latest versions — and get security software such as BitDefender, and run thorough scans of everything on your network.

We’ll check our security logs and see if we can identify your blocked request.

Really ? I’m using android, which is the default browser that comes with my Samsung J5.

For now, I disabled wp spamshield and succeded in posting a comment. Does that mean that the problem still come from my mobile phone ?

We identified the IP address of your blocked request. There has been a load of malicious traffic from that IP.

Also, your IP address is on a load of blacklists, and has multiple reports of hacking attempts coming from it.

You definitely need to check the security of your phone, and any network/Wifi you connect it to. That’s all I can say from here.

It’s strange. My IP address comes from an official provider. I never used my IP address to hack anybody. I don’t even know how to hack !
The thing is I encounter that problem ONLY with your webiste, not with others.

I never thought it was your intent to hack our site. Please don’t think that…The malicious traffic coming form your network was/is likely happening without your knowledge. That’s how malware works. It can lay dormant, or be active at different times, and any site or network you interact with using that device can become infected (if they aren’t protected). Due to the nature of our business (anti-spam/security), we get attacked a lot, so we have a high level of security.

Have you taken the steps I mentioned earlier: scanning your computer, network, phone with security software, and making sure all of your Operating Systems (OS) and browsers are fully up to date?

Running extremely out of date OS and browsers is a major security risk, and unfortunately no security software can compensate for that.

I have no problem with my computer (which is using the same IP address than my mobile phone). If my IP address was really banned, how can I even access your website using my desktop ? It only happens with my smartphone.

The problem is encountered only with my smartphone. But my mobile phone is secured (as far as I know) as I’m using a protection tool while surfing on internet with my smartphone. And the thing is, this is the first time I encounter this problem, never had problems before with my smartphone when posting comments on my website.

If my IP address was really banned, how can I even access your website using my desktop ?

I never said your IP address was banned…I said it showed up on blacklists. That’s not the same thing. That was just to give you second opinion, and show that there was not an error with our detection. Also, if your phone is not using Wifi to connect, they would not have the same IP address.

But my mobile phone is secured (as far as I know) as I’m using a protection tool while surfing on internet with my smartphone.

Note what I mentioned above…Even if you’ve added some security software to your phone, using severely outdated software and Operating Systems will negate any benefit of security software.

So, really, this is the important question:

Have you taken the steps I mentioned earlier: scanning your computer, network, phone with security software, and making sure all of your Operating Systems (OS) and browsers are fully up to date?

Since you don’t have any problems accessing our website using your desktop computer, please submit a support request there so we can help you out.

You’re right. I must have a problem with my smartphone. I tested posting with another smartphone on the same wifi, and it worked.

Any suggestion tool to scan my smartphone ? Thank you. I’m using the default android browser and no update seem to be available.
