All-Day Event Option

    I think it’s very important to add an all-day event option for events. It’s actually very surprising that even the Pro version of your plugin doesn’t offer this simple feature. It’s very common to have a mix of events that have specific times and those that do not.

    I tried adding my own custom field for setting an all-day event with a condtiional, but I’ll have to rebuild the date function entirely since the time is part of the “espresso_list_of_event_dates” function by default. Also, my customizations won’t affect the upcoming events widget, which I can’t edit. The time isn’t even wrapped in a span tag so that I could hide it with css.

    This is my first time working with Event Espresso, and I’ve been really disappointed in the many things it does not include — like a basic search feature. But the all-day event option seems really silly not to include. Is this on your agenda for a future (hopefully soon) release?

    Hi Llinds,

    Where are you running into trouble with an all-day option? The calendar will show events across days. A screenshot or something would help to show the issue.

    No thank you. We switched to a different events plugin that offered more flexibility.
