All Donations show as processing

    Hello,

    All donation orders show as processing, this is fine for physical products but these should be automatically set to “Completed” once paid.

    I can’t find any setting to change these orders to auto complete status. Is there a way to do that? If not, could that be added in a future version?

    Apologies for any inconvenience,

    At the moment, the order status is shown using WooCommerce’s default setup, which handles order statuses for all types of products.

    Donations are considered virtual products, but users have the option to include both virtual and physical products in the same order. Due to this, we can’t change the status of the donation order to “completed.”

    Couldn’t you provide a setting to allow them to default as complete? Our donations are simply that, nothing physical needs to be fulfilled so they should be complete as soon as the donation is made.

    Then users can choose to leave it as default if they need it or choose to have them set to status = complete if the donation doesn’t require anything else.

    Our site sells physical products, which should be set to processing, but it’s confusing when donations show as processing.
