All Fields Blank And Offer Still Comes In

  • Thanks again for a great plugin!

    It seems someone has figured out how to bypass the field requirements and is submitting offers with all blank fields other than the offer price.

    Suggestions:
    1. Debug option to save detailed offer info like: POST information, IP, etc.., in a log file.

    2. Add the user’s IP under “Buyer Details” on the offer.

    If the form field validation is not working that is a sign that you have a jQuery conflict happening on your site. This could be the result of something in your theme or a conflicting plugin. Are you able to reproduce the problem? Can you temporarily disable other plugins to see if the issue goes away? If so, then re-enable one-by-one until the problem comes back to find the culprit. If you can track down the culprit then we can try to reproduce the problem here and make any necessary adjustments to resolve it.

    I didn’t even think of that, but will post if I can track it down.

    I still think it’s worth adding the IP address of the buyer to the details.
