All files download, instead of loading.

  • My website is greenmantle.co.nz. It got hacked a couple of days ago so I deleted the main .htaccess file, then replaced it with a blank one.

    Since then whenever I try go to my website my wordpress files download onto my desktop instead of loading online.

    Any ideas?

  • You deleted the php handler from your .htaccess file. Ask your host or try and add

    AddType application/x-httpd-php5 .php

    to the top of your .htaccess file in root.
