All formatting stripped when converted to Block Editor

    All single event pages on my client’s site that utilize the Classic editor retain their original formatting. However, when any existing event is converted to the Block Editor, all formatting is stripped. Title tags just become bold and all paragraph breaks disappear.

    Recreating the event in Blocks doesn’t work, either. But if I uncheck the Block Editor in Settings, and recreate the event using the Classic Editor, formatting is back to normal.

    Why is converting to Blocks stripping events of formatting?

    Thank you for reaching out.

    You are 100% right, styling in block editor-generated events is not working as well as it should.

    Our apologies for the inconvenience! You will be glad to know that we are currently working on fixing precisely that.

    If all goes well, a much-improved version of the block editor experience will be released over the summer.
