All forms erased after deleting and reinstalling plugin?

Greetings!
Whenever there is a plugin update, I always perform the update in our staging website first to ensure that nothing breaks. I updated the Contact Form 7 plugin to version 5.7.3 on our staging website and everything went smoothly.

I then proceeded to update the plugin on our live site, and received an error that there was an issue downloading the file. When this happens with other plugins, I simply download the latest version manually, delete the plugin and install the latest version – all settings are saved without any problems.

Unfortunately when doing this with the Contact Forms 7 plugin, all of the forms were erased.

I tried manually copying the plugin’s folder as well as the contact-form-cfdb7 folder from our staging website to our live website, and this solve the issue. So I’m assuming the forms are stored somewhere else than these two folders.

I’d appreciate assistance in locating the forms via FTP so that I may copy them from our staging website to the live website.
