• I was looking at my site a few days ago and all my “media” pages are broken(https://amphibiousmarine.com/). This is where I have photos, videos etc. I went in and looked and all my galleries are gone, NextGen, Nextgen Scroll and CVG. I tried adding new ones to both nextgen and Cool video gallery… You can click the add button, but none are actually added. Three galleries from two plugins breaking seems like a clue. I’m not sure when this happened, no one pointed it out, but my site is not very heavily traveled.
    – WordPress up to date? Yes
    – NextGEN up to date? Yes
    – What version of NextGEN Gallery did you upgrade from? (i.e. I had 1.9.8, then upgraded to 1.9.12) Not sure, last one I should think. I don’t know if the issue

(please confirm the following, with your server host tech) :
    – MySQL up to date (at least 5.2.4)? 5.5.35-cll
    – PHP up to date (at least 5.0)?5.3.27
    – The mod_rewrite Apache module activated? Checking on this
    – PHP Safe Mode OFF? Checking on this

Additional information that will help us find a solution:
    – Who are you hosted with? webhostinghub
    – What theme are you running? Pinboard
    – Which plugins do you have installed and activated? Just nextgen, but is was using nextgen scroll and Cool video gallery.
    – Does this error still occur if you switch your theme to the WP default, and deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery? (*be sure to clear your browser cache and reload your site after deactivating) Yes.

    Is this thing on?

@bphillip2 – It looks as though your WordPress URL and Site URL are set to different addresses … unfortunately this can create issues with NextGEN Gallery.

You may be able to sort this out by using the Reset Option under Gallery > Other Options … this may help with NextGEN Gallery, I do not expect it will make any difference to NextGEN Scroll or Cool Video as neither of those plugins are maintained by us.

Please let us know if this helps and/or send us a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) if it does not.

    Thanks!

Interesting. How can you tell the URL’s are different, all I see is https://www.amphibiousmarine.com ? The web hosting hub guy said the same thing, but I still don’t know to fix that.

@bphillip2 – Just look at the page source … you will see almost every URL has /wordpress/ in its structure, yet that does not appear in any rendered page or post.

Look in the WordPress Dashboard under Settings > General … that is usually where the URL for the site is set.

The WordPress URL and Site URL are now the same and I still cannot add new galleries.
