All I get is a black screen …

  • I just tried to install the plugin.

    First I got the PHP message, which I changed on my server. I installed the plugin, activated it and then attempted to use it.

    Second, the Grid Icon on the Portfolio page appears cut in half (in other words I can tell that there are 4 little black boxes in the icon but the second column boxes are cut in half)

    Third, when I click the icon the workspace on my theme “Avada” goes black. The black is somewhat transparent as I can see my cursor flashing in the background. But that’s it … nada…nothing happens. I am trying to insert into an existing portfolio. The theme does not have a gallery of any type.

    Is this compatible with Avada theme?

    Hi @flying936,

    Sorry to hear WP Tiles is giving you trouble. The shortcode editor button doesn’t show up properly on the ‘Text’ tab in the editor. If you switch to Visual the button should be full width.

    I have not seen the behaviour you describe with regards to the black background. Avada is a premium theme, so I can’t quickly test it. Can you switch to TwentyFifteen to see if the problem also occurs there?
