    Hi Guys,

    I am having a similair issue to the reported issue in this thread:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/all-in-one-seo-plugin-is-the-reason-for-website-crash/

    However I cant access the admin backend because we had a url redirect of the admin login page so trying to access the wp-admin login backend with the modified url in the thread (with the url changes etc) does nothing and still brings up the Plesk “This site is under maintenance” page.

    The error which can be seen at the top of the page is:

    Notice: Undefined index: aiosp_license_key in /var/www/vhosts/bindweld.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/aioseop_class.php on line 5808

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    @mcdzine That’s not an error, it’s an informational notice and we fixed that in version 3.6.2 of All in One SEO.

    So first things first, you should set WP_DEBUG to false in your wp-config.php file (located in the root directory of your WordPress installation). It’s a terrible idea to enable this on a production site.

    It’s unlikely that our plugin breaks the login page but you can troubleshoot this by simply renaming the plugin folder, which will automatically force WordPress to deactivate the plugin since it can no longer be found in the last known location.

    For both things you’ll need (S)FTP access. You can find these in your hosting partner’s cPanel or contact their support in case you don’t.

    Thank you kindly for the reply everyone. I was sure I turned off WP_DEBUG but I will be sure to do that.

    And after disabling the plugins folder with a rename, should I restore the name to the folder after I perform any wordpress core updates? As the plugins used are necessary for proper site security and performance fixes.

    Unfortunately even after doing that it seems the issue is still around. I did a manual clearance of the cache(downloaded backups via ftp just in case). And now the maintenance mode is constantly showing all over the whole website.

    Now I know this is out of the scope of your plugin, but out of curiosity would you happen to have a guess as to what may be causing this? I am speaking with the web host right now

    @mcdzine Sorry, we’re not able to answer that.

    All we can tell you is that the PHP notice you reported was already fixed. As for the problem with not being able to access the backend or why the site is slow in maintenance mode, that’s not something we can help with.

    Thats ok WPSMORT, I appreciate it all the same, and yes It ended up being that somehow wordpress got stuck in maintenance mode from the server side, so the server host had to fix it. (Even though they seemed adamant it wasnt a problem on their end)

    Thank you again guys!

    Hello,

    I just updated all plugins on a client’s blog (https://sab-esq.com/) and now I get the following message when I try to login or when i Try to log into the admin panel:
    ========================================================================
    Warning: require_once(/home/content/92/6010392/html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/inc/aioseop_functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/92/6010392/html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/class-aioseop-core.php on line 317

    ========================================================================

    Since I don’t have access to the control panel due to this error I can’t disable the plugin to fix the problem.

    What can I do? Please help with this MOST URGENT ISSUE

    Thank you
    Alex

    Problem fixed with my site.

    Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

    In my case, WordPress caught an error with one of my plugins, All In One SEO Pack.

    WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

    They send you a link that expires in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

    I post this update to my own problem, in case this helps anyone.
