The problem with the all in one site break plugin is that on one side theoretically it is a great plugin idea. The bad side is, with this plugin I learned how important backups are and how important is it to test the updates each time on a cloned copy of my site.
An so it was again for update 2.1.8. it broke my whole Themify-Theme site with its builder grid. Update 2.1.7. still worked, even though I wasn’nt able anymore to remove in the calendar widgets the RSS button and the view calender button, but 2.1.8. finally broke the site completely.
It’s unbelievable, for they sell also a Pro version of this plugin. So in the end you pay for a plugin to break your site????

    Dear Nicola,
thanks for offering support. I did ask support for this plugin a few times back there in the old 1.xx times directly on the https://time.ly/ page. I’m working for over 2 years now with it. And you know, at some point you just stop asking for support for it doesn’t help a lot in most of the cases. On the other hand, look I’m using a plugin for free, a plugin I have not programmed one single line, so why bothering. But the truth is as I said in the first post, it is your plugin that learned me the value of backup. So we have here kind of a love-hate relationship. An it is just frustrating when a plugin-update crashes your whole site. And out of one of that moments I gave my review. In the end, we have to live with it. I’m going to continue to work with it for one site I help with (a NGO), making my backups and restoring the site after a fatal update, hoping to jump to a higher version once site will work fine. But for commercial solutions for my customers this plugin is too unstable…

One of the reasons i’ve found to be cause of crashes after updates ( there are many more obviously ) is that, when we perform an upgrade we have to perform some memory heavy tasks. This can lead to errors as memory is limited and when you run out if, it simply crashes.
We are trying to do something for this, it’s possible that upping the memory limit to PHP before upgrading could help. You can bring the memory limit down after the upgrade finishes.
Recently we made some changes on how we do support. We moved the whole team to do support, i think (and hope) this will result in a better support for the user and also will result in more attention to avoid breaking sites when adding new features.
