    Hi, are you currently using this plugin? Or are you asking if this plugin will help you with your current issue?

    Either way this plugin will definitely help you with your current issue and more.

    Please install the plugin if you haven’t already done so. Then start enabling the features and at the same time make sure you read the information next to each feature you enabled i.e. intermediate and advanced. This helps you understand further what the feature you are about to enabled does to protect your site. It also provides some warnings.

    Configure the Firewall rules and at least the Rename Login Page Feature under Brute Force tab.

    Hi,
    Although this plugin will help with a lot of the wordpress-related security aspects, no plugin can prevent DDOS attacks. Such attacks require solutions outside of the scope of wordpress.
